"When written in Chinese, the word 'crisis' is composed of two characters - one represents danger, and the other represents opportunity." -- John. F. Kennedy
On November 27th a small group of delegation of Minnesota companies headed by Tony Lorusso of Minnesota Trade Office traveled to Hong Kong to attend the World Small – Medium Enterprise (SME) Expo at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. The World SME Expo is an annual conference and exhibition organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council offering a one-stop shop environment where SMEs can attend informative seminars about business opportunities around the world.
In addition to the valuable networking events at SME Expo and among our small group, my follow up trip to Hong Kong highlighted a clear perspective regarding opportunities for FlowSense both in Hong Kong and Macau. These opportunities include new construction and equipment supply in support of casino development and energy/performance retrofit of processing and manufacturing facilities. We will continue our pursuit through a variety of strategic avenues including teaming approach and lobbying large US companies through diversity inclusions, and soliciting support from federal and state funded organizations for continuing assistance and help FlowSense establish an international presense over the next three years. - Paul H.
