Maple Grove, MN. FlowSense Building Services was awarded a multi-year Facilities Management contract from the General Services Administration (GSA) for the five (5) Land Port of Entry (LPOE) facilities located in outstate Minnesota. The turnkey building management services provided by FlowSense will include janitorial, grounds keeping , snow removal, and mechanical services for facilities located in Warroad, Grand Portage, Noyes, International Falls and Baudette. The base contract is for 3 years, beginning in April 2010 with a 2 year option, extending the contract through March of 2015. “Receiving this long term contract which started out as a highly competitive solicitation was by no means a walk in the park,” stated Paul Smallwood, president and owner of FlowSense. “Credit must be given to our dedicated team including estimating, program management, and the support staff, all of whom worked diligently during the bidding process. Being awarded this project is a strong affirmation of the strategic business decision to integrate our unique three-pronged approach to sustainable building management: Construction Services, Facility Management, and Online Supply Solutions.” As evidenced by the LPOE contract award, FlowSense Building Services continues to be a leading provider of facility management services throughout the United States.
