Paul Smallwood, Owner and President

Smallwood's qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious University of Illinois with 20 years of engineering, project management, marketing & sales. Prior to founding FlowSense, Smallwood was employed by the world's leading companies including Siemens-Westinghouse, McQuay International, and Honeywell International. Additionally, Smallwood served honorably in the US Military both as an active member and a reservist. [Military service] has provided Smallwood with hands-on leadership experience and organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure. Through FlowSense, Smallwood has made it a priority to promote environmental sustainability and is a frequent globe trekker to pursue his passion.

Some recent trips included a trade mission to [South America] personal journey to [Vietnam] in 2008, Minnesota mission to World SME Expo [Hong Kong] in 2006, accompanying Governor Pawlenty on the [China] trade mission in 2005, and traveling as a delegate of the Minnesota Environmental Trade Mission to [Vietnam] in 2004.
