FlowSense President honored as Twin Cities Minority Business Leader
Paul Smallwood, owner and president of FlowSense was a recipient of an award in recognition as one of the top minority business owners in the Twin Cities at the Nicollet Island Pavilion, Minnesota. The Minority Business Awards was hosted by the Business Journal and emceed by FOX 9 NEWS anchors in celebration of diversity in business.
The Minority Business Leadership award was presented by Sandy Shapiro (BlueCross BlueShield), Dean Chris Puto (University of St. Thomas), and Steve Bianci (Wells Fargo).

Paul Smallwood, owner and president of FlowSense received an award for Supplier of the Year by the Minnesota Minority Supplier Development Council (MMSDC) at the 28th Annual Minnesota Business Opportunity Fair at the RiverCentre in St. Paul, Minnesota.

FlowSense joined Governor Tim Pawlenty on an unprecedented trade mission to China
Paul Smallwood, owner and president of FlowSense was selected as part of the environmental delegation to participate in the largest state trade mission ever organized in the United States - on a mission to China. Governor Tim Pawlenty led more than 200 business, government, academic and civic leaders geared primarily toward trade, the mission included several industry-focused delegations and featured events in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
