FlowSense LLC, Maple Grove , MN - September 26, 2005: FlowSense announced today that its industrial team has received a contract from the Bureau of Reclamation to supply process instruments for a desalting plant.
FlowSense will provide level monitoring systems for the measurement and control of 12 gravity filter tanks. The level monitoring systems are comprised of Honeywell ST 3000 Smart Transmitters which provide proven technology for differential and gauge pressure measurement.
"This was a special award considering that prior to starting FlowSense, I was employed and given the opportunity to learn and develop my engineering skills at Honeywell," noted Paul Smallwood, president of FlowSense. "Honeywell's products for the process industry are robust and on the forefront in terms of technology."
Established in 1902, the Bureau of Reclamation is best known for the dams, power plants, and canals it constructed in the 17 western states.
