FlowSense Awarded Contract to Supply Biometric Identification Systems to the National Defense University
FlowSense, LLC, Maple Grove , MN - January 16, 2005. FlowSense announced today that it has received a contract to supply Biometric Identification Systems to the National Defense University.
The award specified that two Biometric Demo Units will be commissioned for use in research and training purposes within the government. These mobile identification systems utilize cutting edge biometric-based authentication technology including iris recognition, fingerprint scanning, facial recognition, and smart card technology. The government, private, and public sectors have shown heightened interest in accurate identification and verification methods in biometric recognition applications. The Biometric Demo Units from FlowSense will be used to promote the development and implementation of various biometric technologies.
