FlowSense received order for custom build exposure enclosure system from EPA
FlowSense, LLC, Maple Grove, MN - July 31, 2006. FlowSense announced today that its Industrial Sales Group has been awarded a contract from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for a custom build exposure enclosure system to be installed at the Mid-Continent Ecology Division in Duluth, Minnesota.
The exposure enclosure system will be manufactured by Parker Hannifin Life Sciences Division and installation will be performed by FlowSense Building Services Group. This apparatus will be used to enclose an existing exposure system that consists of a set of shelves with aquaria where fish are exposed to test chemicals. The purpose of the enclosure is to contain the existing exposure system in a fashion that allows scientists to safely work by controlling airflow and providing spill containment.
